Industry Today (industrytoday.com) is the media platform of choice for leaders and influencers in manufacturing and industry across the globe.
In early 2021 Industry Today came to Colophon to provide a powerful and secure web hosting plan in order to deliver performance to their millions of yearly visitors.
In addition, Colophon’s programming team worked with Industry Today to streamline their analytics. This work included connecting their advertising modules on the website to clear reporting that could be used to communicate the success of ads to their customers.
The hosting migration and updates to analytics were are a great success, however, the legacy website for Industry Today was built in such a way that it was hindering the scalability and growth that the company was seeking.
In mid 2023 the decision was made to do a complete upgrade. The project required an extended planning phase given the number of complex features in the website and the tens of thousands of pages that would need to be migrated and optimized.
