Colophon Develops Newspaper Subscription Portal for Coastal Observer

In an era when major newspapers around the country are struggling and closing down, the Coastal Observer, based in Pawley's Island, SC, is thriving.

Delivered weekly, Coastal Observer publishes regional news to subscribers in a broad sheet delivered to their door or via a digital subscription.

Using the CircPro API, Colophon developed a subscription portal that allows users to create new subscriptions, select Print & Digitial or Digital Only Access, and provides access to account settings.

Coastal Observer uses a platform called CircPro to manage their subscription. Using the CircPro API, the web portal instantly communication with the platform and keeps customer account information up-to-date.

The website is hosted on a secure WordPress Optimized hosting platform, monitored 24/7 and protected by a web application firewall.
