Founded in 1965 by Fred Mixson, Landmark Construction remains a family business and has grown to be one of the leading providers of sitework, road construction, utilities, concrete and steel erection in the Charleston, SC region. Major projects include Carolina Park, Dupont Kevlar Expansion and Kinder Morgan Tank Foundation work.
Landmark came to Colophon to re-develop their website as part of an overall marketing upgrade that included a new brochure and advertisements. Using some of the materials provided by Landmark's graphic designer, Colophon re-organized the structure and message of the website and created a clear presentation about the company and its work.
Important to the future success of the website is the ability to update content and make changes quickly. Colophon worked with the Landmark marketing department to identify the key areas of the website that would require frequent updating. Site_Manager 2.0 allows the Landmark team to control all core content in the site and make rapid changes from anywhere they have an Internet connection.
Colophon also provides Landmark Construction with website hosting and maintenance services.
