CNM recently launched the PHASE I website for Planet Basketball. The company specializes in competitive, international basketball tours and was started in 1998. After running numerous successful progams around the world, Planet Basketball stopped operations early in 2002 when the entire travel industry saw a sharp decline in sales. Now with new interest in international basketball competitions and a revitalized marketing strategy, Planet Basketball is currently booking tours for the summer of 2006.
CNM was selected to create a phased approach to bring the Planet Basketball back online. PHASE I includes a basic website presence that re-introduces the company and provides details of the upcoming tours. Future phases will include a multimedia presentation of services and an online books system.
The website is being developed using a "web standards" design approach. The pages are programmed to be fast-loading and easy-to-use. The underlying program running the site is ColdFusion MX 7.0. CNM also provides Planet Basketball with Cold Fusion hosting, enterprise-level web analytics/statistics software and a business-level email service.
