Working in conjunction with the marketing department of Sierra Guitars, Colophon New Media has developed and launched SierraGuitars.net.
Sierra Guitars is a new guitar brand owned by Musicorp Inc. Competing with all of the major national instrument makers, Sierra needed a website that would work hand and glove with their print marketing campaign and offer a polished, efficient and easily updatable web presence. The design was chiefly created by Dan Tetrault of Musicorp and was adapted by Colophon to create a website that includes video, brand information, support files and a complete database of guitar models and their specifications.
Content in the website is controlled by Colophon New Media's Site_Manager 2.0 tool. With Site_Manager, Sierra Guitars administrators can update content to the website from anywhere they have Internet access. The sites runs on a Colophon ColdFusion MX hosting plan and offers the company business grade email and enterprise web analytics to effectively measure the traffic on the site.
