Stevens Towing is a mid-sized barge transportation company based in Yonges Island, SC, just south of Charleston, SC. The company has been in business since 1913.
Stevens Towing came to Colophon with 2 goals:
1) Redesign the Company Website
2) Create an Application for The Tug Captains to Report Using the Web
Colophon designed and developed a site that is visually appealing and technically advanced. The website covers all of the details of the company services offers images, videos and examples of projects and services. Stevens uses Colophon’s Site_Manager 2.0 system to update the content in their site.
The application for Tug Captains we built from the custom requirements of Stevens Port Captain. The system allows tug captains to log in from anywhere in the world and submit their required data. The system has taken the place of paper and faxes. The data is stored and ordered, and made available is numerous formats to the company administrators.
Colophon also hosts and maintains the Stevens site and Tug Captain application.
