Colophon New Media Programs Custom Donations Management System for the Garden Club of Virginia

Colophon New Media designed and programmed the Garden Club of Virginia’s (GCV) main website, membership system and documents management tools. All of their data is centrally hosted in our secure Arizona-based data center.

When the need arose to have a system to manage the organization’s complex donations administration, Colophon worked with their unique requirements to program a fast and efficient web-based system. The Garden Club of Virginia’s "Green Gifts" Donations application ties directly to the membership database, while allowing the addition of non-member donors in an easy-to-use and secure environment. GCV uses the donations data to track progress in their fund-raising efforts and the new application has improved their efficiency across the board.

Because the tool is web-based and rights managed, various administrators can access the application from anywhere connected to the web to do their jobs. Custom reporting tools were created to offer the precise data exports needed to accomplish donations management tasks, create mailers and report of totals.
