Colophon New Media worked from design templates provided by Mermedia Designs under the direction of Marsh Marketing of San Anselmo, CA to program the new website for Michael Roberts Construction (MRC). MRC came to Marsh Marketing to revamp their brand image and bring it in line with the scale and stature of their commercial and residential construction company. The company wanted to feature their numerous success stories and offer a clear path to contact the company and contract services.
The website presents a fresh, clean design, simple navigation and up-to-date, dynamic content. The site includes a projects display, news and events, employment application system, forms, maps and more. The website’s framework is Search Engine Optimized, as is the main content.
The site includes tools that allow the company to manage their own content and improve search visibility on their own schedule. Running from a state-of-art data-center, ColdFusion 8 servers run the main website and the custom-installed content management system. The hosting plan includes business email and enterprise web analytics software.
