Edisto Island Youth Recreation Launches a New Website for the Next Generation

The Edisto Island Youth Recreation Association brings youth sports to children in the small, close‑knit community of Edisto Island, SC. Their all‑volunteer team approached Colophon New Media to build a new website that would help them connect with parents, showcase events, and prepare for a new partnership with the Charleston County Recreation Department.

Using our Three‑Phase Development Process, we created a site that’s intuitive, low‑maintenance, and built to grow with the organization. The new website features easy navigation for parents, photo galleries, event listings, and online sign‑up forms for basketball and cheerleading programs — all optimized through our Website Design & Development expertise.

The new site also highlights the community’s upcoming youth sports facility — a major addition for local families on Edisto Island. We’re proud to have supported a volunteer‑led organization doing such meaningful work in the Lowcountry. This project exemplifies how thoughtful, efficient design can empower small organizations to make a big impact.
