Colophon New Media, LLC is exited to announce the launch of a new support website to provide improved efficiency for website owners seeking support.

There are inevitably issues that arise or changes that need to be made to a website, and this is when business owners want timely, efficient support. Colophon’s new support site helps to improve the support process.

Using an efficient ticketing system support requests are submitted via a short form. The forms works to collect as much relevant information up front in order to inform Colophon’s support staff about the issue and help get it resolved quickly.

Once a user has logged in, they are able to return to previous tickets, or easily create new ones. The ticket system allows users to add attachments and type comments, and for the most part the system functions like email. However, it has the great advantage over email by keeping an organized record of each issue, and a clear system of marking the status of an issue. By providing status, both the website owner and the support staff are able keep track of their tasks and provide solutions more quickly and effectively.
