 The Company

Residential Vitality is a small, family-operated business with a focus on high-quality deck construction and residential renovations. Jason Pohlman has led the business with a patented commitment to custom craftsmanship, and his wife, Marie Pohlman, supports the marketing side. The work showcased all over the new website speaks for itself – they are a leader as a residential exterior contractor in the Charleston area.

 The Challenge

This was a net-new build with only a handful of photos – not much existing copy, no branding, and no logo. This quickly turned into a full-scale creative effort without much to go on at first.

To make sure we gave Residential Vitality the marketing they needed, we:

• Redesigned and refreshed a custom logo

• Write website copy

 The Process

We started with the fundamentals: branding and identity. Our team created a bold, modern logo for Residential Vitality, utilizing past designs but making sure to give the brand a professional and distinctive modern look. We used their previous red & black color palette to mix the strong, dark tones with stark reds to align perfectly with the dramatic Lowcountry sunset imagery Jason and his team consistently create for their customers with great outdoor spaces.

Next, we focused on designing the website and copywriting. Working with Marie to provide their favorite project pictures and feedback, our team wrote content across the site and designed the website to immediately showcase the great projects Residential Vitality constructs. —from homepage headlines to service descriptions. The tone was crafted to reflect Jason’s craftsmanship and integrity, while making the company feel well-established and reliable.

Finally, we built a streamlined, mobile-friendly site that highlights RV’s best work through image galleries, clear service pages, and contact prompts that help convert site visits into project inquiries.

 The Solution

With branding and content in place, we developed a responsive, easy-to-navigate website that showcased Residential Vitality’s work through curated image galleries and clearly labeled service pages for search engine optimization (SEO). Streamlined calls-to-action throughout the site made it simple for visitors to get in touch to request a quote, look at Testimonials and reviews via Google My Business integration, or explore more of RV’s capabilities.

We also ensured the new site met the credibility requirements for Trex and TimberTech, giving RV a platform that immediately reinforced trust and professionalism for their supplier partners and potential new customers.
