LTP Tennis

 The Company

LTP Tennis is the Charleston region’s premier tennis facility for development and training for all ages. With locations in Daniel Island and Mt. Pleasant, SC, LTP offers world class facilities, development and instruction.

 The Challenge

LTP is a multifaceted enterprise that offers an academy, clinics, junior development, adult training and a full-time academy called LTP Scholars. The original website was a very small presentation that did not fully represent LTP Tennis. In the redesign and development process the primary challenge was gathering all assets and organizing them into a cohesive presentation. There was also the requirement to allow easily scalability, so that LTP to make additions to the website over time.

 The Process

As with all projects, that are essentially starting from scratch, the process for LTP began with an outline. Working with LTP administrators Colophon identified all of the parts that make up LTP Tennis and created an outline of these parts. A new site structure was created, and within the new structure flexibility was built-in to allow rapid changes to the service offerings and features.

 The Solution

A custom WordPress theme was created for LTP Tennis, and powerful set of content management tools was installed. In order to keep pace with a rapidly evolving business like LTP, Colophon is able to design and build websites that allow for rapid changes to the presentation without the need for major redesign. An example of this with LTP was the addition of Summer Camps using a new ecommerce system. Ecommerce was added months after going live and was plugged in seamlessly to the design.
