May 19, 2025 — Colophon recently created a landing page that serves as a go-to for anyone in the area who is looking for information on the much-discussed Union Pier district in downtown Charleston.
Now under the ownership of Ben Navarro’s Beemok Capital, the Colophon-designed landing page explains his vision to preserve this crucial plot of land.
Under Navarro’s ownership, this coveted plot of land – which was once home to docks and parking lots for cruise ships, plus a number of warehouses – will be tastefully developed while preserving the natural beauty of the space.
The visually appealing one-page digital home of Union Pier greets visitors with gorgeous drone footage of the waterfront space and a succinct explanation of Navarro’s vision:
“Union Pier will be a vibrant waterfront space that enhances the quality of life for those who live in Charleston now and for generations to come.”
Ben Navarro
The site also includes Navarro’s civic vision, links to the latest reporting from local outlets on this project, a convenient space for a blog keeping Charleston residents up-to-date on Union Pier and an easy way to get in touch via a “Contact Us” page.
Colophon is proud of its role as the designer and host of a pivotal site for the future of this crucial area of our hometown of Charleston.
