Because the firm operates entirely virtually, the website plays a critical role in client acquisition and credibility. The new site needed to serve as both a polished brand presence and a high-performing marketing asset.
J. Haskins Law is a virtual law firm focused on defamation and reputation-related legal matters. With clients spanning multiple states, the firm relies heavily on its digital presence to communicate expertise, trust, and authority to prospective clients searching for reputable attorneys online.
The primary challenge was improving the visual design of the website without sacrificing SEO performance. For a virtual firm, search visibility is essential to generating new leads, and the existing site needed a more modern design alongside a stronger technical SEO foundation.
The project required careful balance: Elevating the design while preserving and improving the site’s ability to perform in competitive search results for different practice areas.
We designed a clean, professional aesthetic aligned with the firm’s credibility and color palette. In this design, we also prioritize the user experience and SEO by streamlining the sitemap to support both users and search engines.
After that, we built individual pages intentionally optimized for relevant legal search terms, focusing on proper structure and backend SEO metadata. And above all is performance – without a top performing server and full security, all the design and on-page work is worthless. Our team developed a lightweight, custom WordPress theme to reduce ongoing maintenance and maximize performance, all on Colophon’s low-tenant, lighting-fast servers.
The result is a modern, search-optimized website that clearly communicates J. Haskins Law’s expertise and supports ongoing lead generation. The streamlined structure, improved design, and SEO-focused page architecture position the firm to continue growing its online presence, and thus, it’s bottom line.
