Following our successful launches of the Meeting Street Schools and Excellence in Teaching Awards platforms, this project completes a cohesive digital ecosystem for the three key Beemok Education programs.
The Meeting Street Scholarship Fund is a transformative organization dedicated to providing South Carolina’s best and brightest students with the opportunity to attend the state’s great universities. By removing financial barriers, they ensure that everyone deserves a fair chance at higher education, empowering students across the state to achieve their academic dreams.
The MSSF team came to us with a fresh brand identity, including a new logo, color palette, and design mockups. Our challenge was to take these creative assets and translate them into a high-performance digital experience. Because the organization manages various programs with unique visual requirements, the website needed to stay visually distinct while remaining part of a unified brand family.
To meet the need for high levels of customization without sacrificing speed, we built a bespoke engine from the ground up. Rather than relying on restrictive third-party plugins or bloated external page builders, we utilized Gutenberg and Advanced Custom Fields to create our own custom “page builder” blocks. These blocks allow the MSSF team to totally customize unique color palettes and layouts with ease. This meticulous, team-driven approach ensures the site is self-reliant, high-performing, and built to last.
The end result is a high-performance website that is exceptionally easy to use and maintain. By prioritizing a custom-coded backend, we have provided the Beemok Education team with a powerful marketing vehicle that eliminates technical overhead, allowing them to focus on their mission. This cohesive digital presence provides the perfect platform to support South Carolina students for years to come.
