From the outset, this project required balancing sophisticated technical content with a clear, professional digital presentation.
Green Gas USA operates at the intersection of industrial manufacturing and renewable energy. Their work transforms waste and byproduct streams into valuable resources, creating a win-win by helping manufacturers improve efficiency and selling renewable natural gas (RNG) to customers ot support sustainability initiatives. Their audience includes manufacturing plant leadership, operations & procurement teams, and executive decision-makers evaluating complex infrastructure investments & energy procurement
The primary challenge was creating a website that could support SEO and a strong design while remaining content-forward. For technical industrial audiences, clarity and authority matter more than visual excess. The site needed to:
– Communicate complex processes in an accessible way
– Establish credibility quickly with manufacturing & energy executive decision-makers
– Support long-term search performance
– Remain flexible as the company and brand continue to evolve
Late in the process, a logo and color palette update required a final round of design changes—adding additional pressure to an already complex build. The Colophon team was up for the challenge and ready to provide a great new website for this leader in the chemical industry!
Colophon New Media used our Three-Phase Development Process to stay organized and purposeful throughout the project. We worked iteratively with the Green Gas team on the sitemap and layouts to ensure content remained the focal point of the experience.
Despite the late-stage brand updates, our team maintained continuity and accuracy across the site. Content Coordinator Vinicius Coelho and Designer Ramiro Modica played key roles in keeping the project aligned, ensuring no content or context was lost as design elements evolved.
Leveraging our Website Design & Development expertise, we delivered a site structured for modern search engines while remaining easy to navigate for highly technical audiences.
The final result is a polished, authoritative website that encourages deeper exploration while clearly communicating Green Gas USA’s capabilities. Built for the new era of search, the site’s content and resources establish immediate credibility and position Green Gas USA as a serious player in the renewable energy and carbon capture space – not just for potential customers, but also for search engines and AI LLMs (AEO).
