Colophon was approached by Modern Minds to take an outdated SquareSpace website and convert it to a custom theme for WordPress. As part of the project the design was updated, new content was added and a complete set of content management tools were installed.

The Company

Modern Minds is mental health service in Charleston SC that works with a “Core Immersion Program” to treat the whole-person. Modern Minds provides an innovative, holistic model to mental health care in the Charleston SC region.

The Challenge

Working in a very fast-moving environment, Colophon was tasked with re-designing Modern-Minds.com based on a legacy website hosted at SquareSpace. Colophon needed to update the design and integrate new content.

The Process

In order to successfully complete this website redesign project, Colophon needed to work in an “agile” environment, receiving feedback from the marketing department at Modern Minds and integrating it to the new design. The process including rapid changes to the overall structure of the website and updates to content.

The Solution

Colophon drew and programmed a completely new design for Modern Minds that focused on simplicity and ease use. The result is a custom WordPress theme with a suite of content management tools for easy and fast updates to content. The design is full responsive and even the info graphic that describes the company’s core approach adapts well to mobile.

The mental and emotional wellbeing of all involved was improved 🙂
