A Happy Tail…Colophon Announces the New Website for D.O.G.S. (Dogs of Great Service)

Dogs of Great Service (D.O.G.S) is a non-profit organization dedicated to breeding and training Golden Retriever service dogs, and is proud to launch their new website with the help of Colophon New Media. The business started in 2012 and is using the website to increase awareness of their cause and also share their passion for this intelligent and lovable breed.

The charity specifically aims to provide service dog assistance for returning veterans with mobility and psychological assistance needs. They rely on the donations they receive from the public to breed and train new dogs so that they can provide a full support system for those that need it. The website is designed to educate the public about the charitable efforts carried out by D.O.G.S and increase the level of support received so that this work can continue in the future.

Colophon’s development team worked directly with the D.O.G.S administrators to build a site to their exact requirements. This includes a showcase of the dogs, a donations page and section displaying the latest dogs available for adoption. Links to social media profiles, volunteer application forms and support resources make this website fully interactive to visitors.

The site is hosted and maintained by Colophon and powered by an easy-to-use content management system. This gives administrators full control over the features, images and videos displayed on the site as they document new puppy litters, training accomplishments and the results of their life-changing work.
